About these clothes & photos

I designed all the clothes and sewed them, sometimes by hand (especially for dolls), and by machine for life size dresses. I use scraps of cloth I find and sometimes buy fabric (for example orange fabric in Silver meets Orange). This winter break I set up the doll for photos using my phone and used my stuffed animals and other items from around the house to create a background, including the road made out of encyclopedias. My sister Aziza modeled Silver meets Orange and sometimes tried to look like a model (from her point of view they do not smile) and sometimes was her true self - smiling. I took the photos. For the pictures of me modeling Falling Flowers I asked my mom to take the pictures with my phone. - Helena J. Worden, Jan. 2025
